Tea ceremony performance @ tea teacher's house

About a month ago, I performed tea ceremony at my tea teacher's house.
We had three visitors: one Japanese student, who is renting Keiko teacher's flat and two of his friends.

As I don't get to take photos while I practise tea ceremony, I am glad to have these images to show.
(These images were taken by a Taiwanese man, the back row in the centre, who loves Japanese culture.)

Brisstyle Creative Development Session

I attended Brisstyle Creative Development Session about 2 weeks ago.
It's free and open to non-members as well, so just sign up the news letter and apply for the sessions you like. It's very usuful for people who are thinking to start your own small business.

The last session was "Wholesale & Consignment". The next one is "Bookkeeping". I think bookkeeping is the one I do need to attend and I will.

At the session, I saw another Japanese craft designer, who makes handmade items mainly for babies and kids. (Business name is Berry Bambino). The photo below is from her facebook site. Aren't they adorable?

The parcel has arrived

I am finally back in Brisbane and has started making new items.
The parcel from Japan packed with kimono and obi fabrics has arrived a few days ago.
There are too many things I want to make and I am not sure where to start...
The pink obi sash with bird and flower pattern is one of my favourite.
What should I make with this?
