Kyoto has a lot of museums for the size of city.
This tiny museum "Kahitsukan" hold great modern art exhibitions, with stunning installations of art works, maximising the small space.
I especially like the artworks by Maya Maxx, whose exhibition is currently held at this museum (until June 12th 2011) . I went to see her exhibition last year with my friends. They were awesome!
And don't forget to see all the floors of this museum.
At the top floor, there is a small inner garden by the tea room.
Great place to have a rest.
